While Amazon Web Services gets a lot of the attention in the Cloud Computing world, Microsoft's Azure cloud platform is also a very serious player. Feature for feature, there isn't much that's available through AWS that you can't also do on Azure. And, of course, their tight integration with Microsoft's other products means that some infrastructure will naturally find its way to Azure.
That's why Cloud Academy has undertaken to create a full range of courses that teach Azure skills. This course, taught by our Azure expert Ganapathi Subramanian, is the very first of this series. It will introduce you to the basic platform services and give you everything you'll need to actually create your own simple Azure deployments.
