What you'll Learn
Virtualization refers to the provisioning, creation, and administration of virtual versions of a resource, including virtual computer hardware, platforms, operating systems, storage devices, or computer network resources. It represents the foundation of modern cloud computing and is at the basis of its elastic scaling features. Most virtualization currently in production is probably hosted by one of the major cloud computing platforms: Amazon's AWS, Google's Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft's Azure.
