70-534 - Secure Resources

This course covers the Secure Resources part of the 70-534 exam, which is worth 20-25% of the exam. The intent of the course is to help fill in an knowledge gaps that you might have, and help to prepare you for the exam.

Welcome to the Secure Resources course. This is part of the Azure 70-534 learning path.

The Azure 70-534 exam is not an easy one and it requires that you have a general knowledge of a wide range of topics. The goal of this course is to help fill in any knowledge gaps.

If you're like me, then you don't use all that Azure has to offer most days. And that means that you may have some gaps in your knowledge. This course will go through the topics covered under the domain objective for Secure Resources.

Those topics include managed identities, hybrid identities, identity providers, data security and managing security risks.

Now if you're already proficient in any of these areas, then you can skip through the lessons as you need to. And if you're already proficient in all of these, then you can probably skip this entire course.

Okay, it's worth mentioning that some of the demos throughout this course were recorded in November of 2016 and, at that time, Azure AD was exclusively managed from the old portal. Now that's no longer the case.

However, not all of the features are available in the new portal since it's still in preview. So, until it's in general availability, I'm not gonna change this to redo those demos to use the new portal.

Alright, if you're still here, then let's get started with the first lesson.
