The simplest way to create a chart is to select the cells that you wish to turn into a chart, click the Insert ribbon tab, and then set the Recommended Charts command. A series of different chart styles will be presented to you and you can see what they look like by simply clicking onto them. Click the type that you like best and then click OK. Your chart will appear on the page. You will notice that your chart is selected and you can see this as there a grab handles around the corner of the chart. The chart itself can also be moved by clicking under the chart's background and dragging it into a position. You can also change the size of the chart by clicking and dragging on one of the corners.
