Transcript

Welcome to our Amazon AWS Basics course. In the next few minutes, we will explain all the main aspects of Amazon Cloud Computing Platform starting from a very basic point of view so that everyone can follow us in this journey. Amazon AWS is a complete but still evolving set of cloud computing services that aim to solve some important challenges every developer has to face with everyday -- make applications flexible, available, and scalable. AWS describes its services as elastic, meaning that you can instantly scale up your virtual infrastructure.

As your application needs to, you can ask for resources and get them in just a few minutes, greatly improving the time to market of your projects. All AWS resources are available in an on-demand dynamic model with a pay-as-you-go approach. Basically you pay only for the time you use them with no upfront cost.
