A migration is successful when the target production system is up and running correctly with the minimum impact on the business' operation. Hi, and welcome to this Azure SQL Designing and Implementing a Migration Plan course. We start the migration journey by evaluating your current database environment in relation to Azure SQL database offerings. Having identified the target environment, we'll look at planning the migration to minimize downtime and cost. Finally, we'll explore the different methods and tools to carry out the migration and how you might go about it.
As far as prerequisites go, this is not an overly technical course, so familiarity with general database and cloud concepts will be sufficient for you to understand and appreciate this content.
