In this course we’ll provide a quick review and highlight key points presented within the AWS Developer Services CI/CD Learning Path.
- [Instructor] Welcome back, before we finish, let's do a quick review of what we've learnt. We gained an understanding of the Principles of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, and how CICD can be effectively used within your own software projects. We gained an understanding of the benefits of using the AWS developer based services to set up and engineer CICD workflows. We gained an understanding of the benefits of using the following AWS services: CodeCommit as a source control service, CodeBuild as a continuous build service, CodeDeploy as a continuous deployment service, CodePipeline as a continuous delivery service, and Cloud9 as a web-based IDE for developing code. We gained an understanding of how to use AWS CodeStar to quickly and seamlessly provision complete CICD environments. Finally, we put our learnt CICD knowledge into action by building a web-based portal application, building and deploying it through the use of a CICD pipeline. Using each of the individual AWS developer services, the outcome of which was a web-based portal app running on a publicly-accessible EC2 instance. Thank you for your participation.
