Welcome to Configuring Serverless Computing on Azure. My name is Thomas Mitchell and I'll be taking you through this course on Serverless Computing in Azure. I'm an Azure Content Author at Cloud Academy and I have over 25 years of deep IT experience, several of those with cloud technologies. This course is intended for IT professionals who are interested in earning Azure certification and for those who need to deploy and configure serverless resources in Azure. To get the most from this course, you should have at least a moderate understanding of Azure serverless computing resources, such as Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps. In this course, we're going to review what serverless computing is, and what it offers. 

After learning about serverless computing, you'll learn about Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps. You'll learn how to create a function in the Azure Portal and how to manage Azure Function App settings. In addition, you will learn how to create an automated workflow with Azure Logic Apps. Later in the course, you'll learn about Event Grid and how to use it to monitor virtual machine changes in an Azure subscription. We'll round out the course with Azure Service Bus and how to use it to update inventory.
