Creating a REST endpoint with API Gateway
The first steps in creating a serverless function are generally creating a REST interface to allow clients to interact with your backend services. In this course, we step through creating an API using the AWS API Gateway service.
Okay, that concludes our Creating an API Gateway course, and in review, we explained what RESTful interfaces were and how they can used in Serverless architectures. We introduced application programming interfaces and how services like API Gateway make it easy to create stateless application end points. And, we created our first application programming interface using the AWS API Gateway service. I do recommend you do the labs that follow this course.
