Transcript

I hope you've enjoyed Deploying and Implementing Google Cloud Platform Solutions. Let's review what you've learned.

We began the course with Kubernetes Engine resources. You learned how to deploy a Kubernetes Engine cluster, and how to deploy a container application to Kubernetes Engine using pods. Closing out the first section, you learned how to configure Kubernetes Engine application monitoring and logging.

Next, we covered the deployment and implementation of App Engine and Cloud Functions resources. In this section, you learned how to deploy an application to App Engine and how to deploy a Cloud Function that receives Google Cloud Events.

As we progressed through this course, you learned how to upload data into Google Cloud solutions such as Cloud Storage and Cloud SQL.

After learning how to upload data, you learned how to deploy a solution using Cloud Launcher. You learned about things like browsing the Cloud Launcher catalog, and viewing solution details. You also learned how to deploy a Cloud Launcher marketplace solution.

Rounding out the course, we talked about using Deployment Manager for deploying applications. You learned about using Deployment Manager templates, including how to use them to automate deployments.

At this point, you should now have a full understanding of how to deploy and implement Google Cloud Platform solutions.

To learn more about deploying and implementing Google Cloud Platform solutions, you can and should read Google's documentation. Be sure to also watch for new courses on Cloud Academy, because we're always publishing new ones. Be sure to give this course a rating, and if you have any questions or comments, please let us know.
