Now that doesn't mean you need years of development experience. However, you should understand the development and implement process at at least a high level. Also, you should have some familiarity with Visual Studio 2013 or newer and the C# programming language.
All right, we're asking a lot from you in the way of pre-reqs, so what are you going to get out of this course? The goal of this course is to provide the practical knowledge and experience needed to master the Designing Web Apps section of the Microsoft 70-534 Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions Certification.
This course will cover the key topics with a focus on competencies tested by the exam. The topics will include designing and deploying web apps, scaling and performance as well as business continuity for your web applications.
We'll be starting the course by creating a web app and then we're going to move on to a discussion of designing web apps for scalability and performance which are very important to all companies. Then we're going to move on to covering deploying web apps because deploying is at least as important as the development process.
