Stakeholders and Customers

Stakeholders and customers

As you have understood from the video, stakeholders are the lifeblood of any agile team. A stakeholder is a 'person external' to the team with a specific interest in and knowledge of a product that is required for incremental delivery.

To truly deliver a product that satisfies your stakeholder's needs, you need to understand those stakeholders. The stakeholder is the consumer of the output/deliverable who receives the value. Business representatives on any team should always be fully engaged in gathering ideas and receiving feedback from stakeholders.

So far this learning journey, our experts have touched on the Agile values and mindset and there are references to the Agile Manifesto. It is time now to take a closer look at what the Manifesto is and why you need to know its values and principles.
