Who is Prashant?
With 19 years of industry experience, Prashant started his career as desktop Admin, suddenly got hold of Windows NT disks 3.51 & later (as upgrades came along) while working for MS dealer in India - back in 1996. Since then he has grown from system administration to architect.
Now he is focusing on developing a Risks / Mitigation, Assumptions Givens, mapping of traditional DMZ in cloud. He has also developed an architecture blueprint for application development by following the concept of chopping. This is chopping the application to fit into various layers (e.g. Presentation, Business, Application, Database), defining concerns for each layer and addressing those concerns with various technologies. While doing so, Prashant applies governance across the board.
Currently he is looking at Azure & AWS solution for Syngenta in India. He considers himself as “forever student”, he loves to study and to keep always updated with the latest tech developments.
Prashant’s Cloud Academy Experience
“In the past, one of my manager said “Google for your need”. And my response was: “If Google could answer everything, we wouldn't need universities”. Guess what? For me CloudAcademy is the Cloud’s University.”
He had the opportunity to work using the Enterprise version of the cloud. Together with his colleagues, he found the courses well organized in learning paths as in the study programs of a real University.
“Cloud Academy is the way to start learning instead of browsing.”
