Introduction

S3 is a highly-scalable and fully-managed storage service with a simple web services interface that you can use to store and retrieve data.

In this Lab Step you will use the AWS Simple Storage Service (S3) to verify that your Lambda function processed the message you published to your SNS topic.

Instructions

1. In the AWS Management Console search bar, enter S3, and click the S3 result under Services:

2. In the list of S3 Buckets, click the Bucket beginning with sns-lab-bucket-:

3. In the list of objects you will see a file called lab-subject:

This file was uploaded to the S3 bucket by your Lambda function.

Summary

In this Lab Step, you used S3 to verify that your Lambda function was triggered when you published a message to your SNS Topic.
