Here you can find the instructions for this specific Lab Step.

If you are ready for a real environment experience please start the Lab. Keep in mind that you'll need to start from the first step.

Introduction

This Scala lab provides you with a web browser integrated development environment (IDE). The host has Scala as well as common development tools such as git installed and ready for you to play with.

The following instructions allow you to connect to the in-browser Scala IDE. Once connected you can explore, test, build, and play with Scala until the lab time expires.

Instructions

1. Once you see Setup completed, click Open Development Env. to open the in-browser development environment:

Note: It takes approximately 1 minute for the development environment to startup.

2. The web-based Scala IDE will be presented as a standard Visual Studio Code IDE.

You will see some outputs made by the IDE. Just wait a few seconds so the initialization process will complete.
