Containers have become the standard for the deployment process, and Kubernetes has emerged as the standard for container orchestration platforms. When running Kubernetes at scale, managing, operating, and scaling your infrastructure to maximize cluster utilization — without suffering from idle resources — can be a big challenge.
When using Kubernetes, there are so many things a development team needs to manage and configure. This includes selecting the best instance type and size, determining when to scale up or down, and making sure all of the containers are scheduled and running on the best instances — and that is even before starting to think about cost resource optimization.
Join our upcoming webinar to learn how you can run your Kubernetes cluster without managing and operating its underlying infrastructure. We’ll discuss the different services provided by cloud providers and third-party products.
Kevin McGrath, CTO at Spotinst, Tomer Hadassi, Solutions Architects Team Lead at Spotinst, and Thomas Mitchell, Azure Researcher & Trainer at Cloud Academy, will introduce a new approach to automating and optimizing container workloads. This approach will reduce cloud costs and operational overhead while improving efficiency and performance.
By joining this webinar, you will learn more about:
- Containers-as-a-Service (CaaS)
- The rise of containers and Kubernetes
- Automating, managing, and optimizing container workloads
- CaaS solutions, including a detailed technical demo from Spotinst Ocean
- Reducing infrastructure costs and improving performance
Don’t miss this webinar on August 28 at 10 a.m. PT.
– All registrants will receive the recording of the webinar via email.
Tomer Hadassi, Solutions Architects Team Lead at Spotinst
Tomer started his technical career managing several data centers in the Israeli intelligence force. After that, he went on to work at VMware focusing on enterprise end-point disaster recovery. While studying Data Science at NYU he worked at McKinsey Digital Labs to help enterprises become more Agile and leverage cloud capabilities. Since joining Spotinst he’s focused on helping customers adopt DevOps best practices in CI/CD, Containerization and immutable infrastructure, especially on ML / AI workloads.
Kevin McGrath, CTO at Spotinst
Kevin started his career at USi, the first Application Service Provider (ASP) 20 years ago. It was here he began delivering enterprise applications as a service in one of the first multi-tenant shared datacenter environments. After USinternetworking was acquired by AT&T, Kevin served in the office of the CTO at Sungard Availability Services where he specialized in migrating legacy workloads to cloud-native and Serverless architectures.
Thomas Mitchell, Azure Researcher & Trainer at Cloud Academy
Tom is not only a Cloud Platform & Infrastructure MCSE but also an IT industry veteran with 20+ years of experience in multiple technologies. An Active Directory specialist, Tom has never met an AD problem that he couldn’t solve. He also speaks Microsoft Exchange fluently.
