In this lesson of the AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate course, we introduce you to the various Database services currently available in AWS that are relevant to the DEA-C01 exam.

Objectives

  • Provide a high-level introduction to storage services in AWS, including:
    • Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)
    • Amazon DynamoDB
    • Amazon Neptune
    • Amazon Redshift
    • Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility)
    • Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra)
    • Amazon MemoryDB for Redis

Prerequisites

The AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate certification has been designed for anyone in a data engineering role who has knowledge and experience using AWS services to set up and maintain ETL pipelines. All of the AWS Cloud concepts introduced in this lesson will be explained and reinforced from the ground up.
