Our exclusive CloudRank technology is renewed by a brand new algorithm that slightly changes the way your score is calculated, to give even more value to your knowledge and skills. From the beginning we saw our Cloud Rank as a great technology to help our users learning and testing their knowledge, a part of our team is focused on improving our Cloud Rank month by month adding new features.
One of the major drawbacks of the old CloudRank was that scores could decrease even when you correctly answered quizzes. This was caused by how the CloudRank was calculated, and was very frequent especially while answering your first questions, causing many of you to complain for this weird behavior. With CloudRank 2.0, your rank is independent from the quantity of quizzes you answered, avoiding you the bad feeling of seeing your score decreasing even if you kept answering questions correctly. We are really happy that we finally improved our technology, and we are sure you will be too!
The new CloudRank 2.0 has a quite complex internal mechanism that gives more value to your cloud computing knowledge, especially when your skills are strong and distributed among the many services and providers we test you about. Our new algorithm now takes into account how skilled you are in each single service or provider we test you about, and bestows extra scores to the professional among you who are equally skilled in several different technologies. That’s the main reason why someone among you might see a small decrease of their CloudRank if they are focused on a small set of technologies.
No worries, this is a one-time only which has been calculated when we deployed CloudRank2.0.
