Cloud Academy is Looking for 2 Content Creators for AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure

(Update) Want to join our team? We are looking for ambitious and energetic people to join our growing team and help build Cloud Academy while maintaining our awesome company culture, which embraces and supports independence, transparency, positive communication, professional development, and a work-life balance. Visit the Cloud Academy’s Careers page to learn about all open positions.

At CloudAcademy, we have experienced a lot of growth in the last months. In fact, we started CloudAcademy.com only with a bunch of Amazon Web Services quizzes and our CloudRank technology, and we are now doing a lot more in order to create the first e-learning platform completely dedicated to cloud computing technologies, infrastructure design, big data, and all the trends that are drastically changing how we build things online.

As CEO and co-founder of Cloud Academy, I have to say that I’ve been proud to work with an excellent team of 6 people that are now building our technology, our content platform and taking care of a big amount of data that we are collecting to help our members learn more.

This is the time to speed up and fuel our growth with new people for our content team.

We are looking for 2 content creators, for part-time and full-time positions, that have sound knowledge in cloud computing and have clear experience in building applications and infrastructure on the cloud. They will be part of our content team and we’ll produce high-quality courses and laboratories for our worldwide audience!

The main job will be to organize and create video courses for our online library. We provide guidelines and support in every moment to be sure that you can focus on the content creation activity. You can work 100% of the time from remote.

Requirements and skills:

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or/and Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of the Linux operating system and all the most important aspects of a Linux environment.
  • Knowledge of common open source software, including Linux, MySQL, PostgreSQL, PHP.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.
  • Any previous experience of education and e-learning is a preference.
  • Embrace guidance from more senior team members
  • Passionate about education and e-learning
  • Being an American citizen is a preference

Let me also give you an idea of the courses that we need to produce in the very next months (all of them are examples):

  • Advanced concepts for developing high touch web applications on the AWS Cloud
  • Deep Dive into core EC2
  • Deep Dive into S3
  • Security on the AWS Cloud
