I’m glad to announce that CloudCareer is now publicly available. We built CloudCareer following thousands of feedbacks we got in the last months; our members were using CloudAcademy to test their skills and learn how to use AWS to pass the AWS Solutions Architect Certification. You were asking for a specific path to learn and test your skills before trying the Amazon’s exam, so we came up building a specific product designed to prepare cloud computing certification, not only AWS.
We called it CloudCareer and the first learning path proposed is for AWS Solutions Architect. As our first product in CloudAcademy.com, we used a very simple approach with our classic user experience made of Quizzes and Learning Statements, and investing our time in designing a specific group of learning statements with the aim to help our members studying and testing their skills. That has meant reviewing multiple times our content, testing it with our team of Cloud Experts and also using it with several tests across our user basis, asking for feedbacks to be sure we were considering the right amount of learning statements.
Let me get straight to the point and explain how CloudCareer can help you studying for your Cloud Computing Certification.
Once you buy CloudCareer you will get access to a specific control panel where you can start your learning path.
CloudCareer will serve you 75 or 250 quizzes (based on the subscription type, Basic or PRO) composed by multiple choices quizzes and learning statements. Every quiz has an associated learning statement that you can read right after your answer.
We tested this model with thousands of people and we saw how good it is to study for a cloud computing certification like AWS Solutions Architect. All the quizzes are organized by topics and services: you will find specific quizzes about Amazon VPC, Amazon EC2, RDS and all the most important topics that are included in the original certification path and suggested by the Certification provider.
With CloudCareer for AWS Solutions Architect you’ll learn about 33 different services and topic from AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, IAM, VPC, Security and so on). You can stop your path and resume it whenever you want until you get it completed. At this point CloudCareer will show you a complete set of results with some important statistics like the number of wrong/right quizzes, your percentage of success and where your knowledge is stronger or weaker.
Let me show you some screens:
Each path in CloudCareer is built by experts that have already cleared the final exam and are skillful in those specific fields. Cloud Academy creates unique set of quizzes and learning statements for each path, looking at the topics related to the certification, the experience of our training advisors and finally using the data from our tests with a restricted and selected number of users.
CloudCareer Basic is designed for people who are already experienced and only need a final verification with a good review of content. It comes with 75 quizzes and you cannot review all the learning statements at the end of your learning path, neither repeat the path multiple times.
CloudCareer PRO is designed for people with limited experience who want to learn about AWS from the ground up. It comes with 250 quizzes and learning statements with a rich-description and learning approach. You can repeat and test your skills multiple times, review all the learning statements and keep studying them for the entire time of your subscription.
If you are interested in CloudCareer you can buy it now with a 10% off till 31th of May 2014. Our FAQs page are a good starting point for any doubts you can have about CloudCareer.
