CloudCareer is our product designed to help you studying and testing your skills for Cloud Computing certification. After 2 weeks we have some data about our users and how they are using CloudCareer to study: all of them are now preparing the AWS Solutions Architect Certification, we’ll release other learning paths during the next weeks.
CloudCareer is available in 2 different versions: BASIC and PRO. The first one is designed for all the people that just need to test their skills before the exam, and are pretty sure about their preparation. The PRO version of CloudCareer gives you also the possibility to study and learn the most important topics about AWS Solutions Architect.
Right now CloudCareer includes learning statements for:
We weighted the number of quizzes and learning statements for each topic based on what you will get during your official exam of Amazon. So you’ll find a lot of quizzes about IAM and VPC, since they are core topics and less about SQS or ELB; we have scenario based quizzes, where you need to understand and know how AWS works in order to be able to answer and questions where you need to know exactly how a specific service operates.
From what we see there is no way to pass CloudCareer without having a strong knowledge and a solid preparation.
Once you are in CloudCareer you can start a “path” (you can start unlimited path with CloudCareer PRO) and there you start answering our quizzes. Each quiz has also a learning statement, that means that you can discover immediately why you were wrong (or right); each quiz has a timer of 60 seconds.
This is my CloudCareer with a couple of paths already started.
You can use our Tour in order to get an idea of CloudCareer’s functionalities, but it is really simple. You can multiple paths of 250 quizzes, so you can stop and start when you want or reset the path to start answering all the quizzes again. In any moment you can click on “Statements” to get all the learning experience of CloudCareer. We’ll be there in a moment.

Learning is the most important component of CloudCareer PRO. Once you are done with testing and you took 2 or 3 paths, you probably want to review all the topics you need to master for the exam and read again all the learning statements.
You can do this with extremely useful filters: you can read or review all the topics were you have been wrong (let’s suppose you don’t know EC2 that well!) or only the single topics you are interested in.
In this case I’m selecting all the learning statements where I was wrong for CloudFront. I got 7 of them which I can easily review.
