Introducing the New Cloud Academy Mobile App

Following on our recent updates to the Cloud Academy web interface, today, we’re happy to announce that we’ve implemented many of these same changes on our mobile app for both iOS and Android.

New features of the Cloud Academy mobile app

UI

You may have already noticed that our mobile interface is now aligned with the website. This allows you to easily navigate to your areas of interest faster and more intuitively.

The app opens to our content library, and you can easily navigate between any of the four main areas at the bottom of the screen: Library, Explore by Topic, Dashboard, and Smart Sessions.

Content Library

The full Cloud Academy content library is now available on our mobile app, making it easier for you to discover the video courses, learning paths, quizzes, and hands-on labs available for AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, DevOps, Containers, and more.

Our curated content stripes help you explore content by collection, such as Cloud Fundamentals, Cloud Ecosystem, and by platform.

Search

Or, you can simply search for your topic of interest.

Explore by Topic

Many Cloud Academy users choose our learning paths because they take the guesswork out of figuring out which course to take next. Explore the variety of learning paths organized by cloud computing platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), for general cloud computing topics (Getting Started with Cloud Migration for Business, Docker & Container Technologies, Careers in Cloud Computing, Ansible, Serverless, and more), and for DevOps.

Smart Sessions

Learn on the go with our Smart Sessions: Choose the time you want to study or practice – 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, or up to an hour – and we’ll serve up the course material based on your availability.

User Dashboard

Our intuitive dashboard makes it easy to track your progress, pick up where you left off, discover new and trending content, and explore the content recommended just for you.

  • The “Today” tab is all about where to go next. Pick up with activities already in progress, explore new content, or explore the content recommended for you based on your preferences and current activities.
  • The “Progress” tab shows an overview of where you are in Cloud Academy by identifying your pending and completed pieces of content, your strengths and weaknesses based on quiz and course performance, and more.
  • Easily reference any of your downloaded content in the “Downloaded” tab to study or practice offline.

Explore for free

Starting this week, we’ve unlocked the Cloud Academy library (for both web and mobile) so that users can browse content at a more detailed level without a Cloud Academy account.

Offline feature

With this new feature, you can download courses and quizzes to learn and practice anywhere, anytime.

To ensure the highest level of functionality and compatibility, please make sure that your devices are updated to the most current versions for iOS and Android.

Enjoy and download our new Cloud Academy app now!
