In this Kinesis Analytics course, we will perform an in-depth review of the Amazon Kinesis Analytics service. We review where and when to use this service to best effect. You will be introduced to the key features and core components of the Kinesis Analytics service. We spend time understanding and reviewing Kinesis Analytics Applications, Input Streams, SQL Queries, Pumps, and Output Streams. We’ll review the important parts of how to define and structure our SQL queries. Finally, a demonstration and walkthrough of an end-to-end real-time data streaming example is provided.

Before we finish, let's do a quick review of what we've learned. We gained an understanding of Kinesis Analytics, and where and when to use it to best effect. We introduced you to the key features and core components of the Kinesis Analytics service. We spent time understanding and reviewing AWS Kinesis Analytics patterns. We learned about the core components of a Kinesis streaming SQL query, such as schema, streams and pumps, and how they work together. We provided an overview of tumbling and sliding windows. We reviewed the key benefits obtained when using Kinesis Analytics. Finally, we spent time building end-to-end real time data streaming example in which we demonstrated and performed real-time streaming analytics. Thank you for your participation.
