Hello and welcome to this AWS Cost Management Course focusing on cost allocation. I am Heinrich Marks and I’m a FinOps Consultant at kreuzwerker Frankfurt GmbH. My focus is on cost optimization in the AWS cloud and the practice of the FinOps methodology on the enterprise level. In fact, we are the leading FinOps professionals in Germany and cover many other fields related to AWS and Cloud Development. 

This course is aimed to be beginner-friendly and therefore does not require any special knowledge. However, It is advisable that you are familiar with the following topics. 

  • Cost optimization in theory
  • Cloud & Finance related terminology
  • And basic knowledge of AWS

The objective of this course is to understand cost allocation in theory, including best practices and how to apply common strategies.
