Transcript

Hello, and welcome to this course, where I am going to be focusing on a number of different AWS services at an introductory level, which can be used to help you control, monitor, and manage your AWS environment and resources effectively and with ease.

Before we start, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Stuart Scott. I am one of the trainers here at CloudAcademy, specializing in AWS, Amazon Web Services. Feel free to connect with me with any questions using the details shown on the screen. Alternatively, you can always get in touch with us here at CloudAcademy by sending an email to support@cloudacademy.com, where one of our cloud experts will reply to your question.

As a pre-requisite of this course, you should have a basic knowledge and awareness of AWS and Cloud Computing. The content within this course would be beneficial to anyone who is looking to sit the AWS certified Practitioner exam, systems engineers and administrators, security professionals, and Cloud architects.

This course is comprised of the following lectures, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config, Trusted Advisor, Amazon CloudWatch, and the AWS Health Dashboards. Within each of these lectures, I will be explaining what the service is and what it does to give you an understanding of how these services can help you manage your AWS account, giving you the knowledge to be able to successfully select the most appropriate service for your requirements. At the end of this course I will provide a summary highlighting the key points from the previous lectures.

By the end of this course you will have a greater understanding of how to monitor, manage, and control your AWS resources. You'll understand the main function and purpose of AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config, AWS Trusted Advisor, Amazon CloudWatch, and AWS Health Dashboards. And you'll be able to correctly select the required service for your management needs.

Feedback on our courses here at Cloud Academy are valuable to both us as trainers and any students looking to take the same course in the future. If you have any feedback, positive or negative, it would be greatly appreciated if you could contact support@cloudacademy.com.

That brings me to the end of this lecture. Coming up next I will be introducing you to the AWS CloudTrail service.
