In this Course, we look at configuring Private Google access starting with an overview of what it is, before moving on to networking and DNS configuration as well as routing and firewalls. We'll then walk you through a guided demonstration of how to enable Private Google Access so that you get a practical understanding of the service.
We'll also look at Private Google Access for on-premises hosts, covering domain names, virtual IPs, networking and DNS configuration, and permissions. We'll wrap with Private Services Access and Serverless VPC Access.

This course is intended for those who wish to learn how to configure private Google access on the GCP platform.
We’re going to start things off with an overview of the different types of private Google access that can be configured. You’ll be introduced to Private Google Access, Private Google Access for on-prem hosts, Private Services Access, and Serverless VPC Access.
After introducing you to the types of private Google access that exist, I’ll dive into the details of Private Google Access, where you’ll learn about its networking and DNS requirements, along with how to configure routing and firewalls to use it.
We’ll wrap up the Private Google Access section with a hands-on demonstration of enabling Private Google Access.
We’ll then take a look at Private Google Access for On-Prem Hosts. You’ll learn about the different domains used by Private Google Access, as well as what virtual IPs you need to be aware of.
Next, we’ll jump into networking and DNS configuration requirements to support Private Google Access for on-prem hosts. We’ll wrap up the section by covering the permissions that are required for implementing Private Google Access.
To round things out, we’ll briefly touch on Private Services Access and Serverless VPC Access. Since this course is built more for Private Google Access and Private Google Access for On-Prem Hosts, we’ll cover Private Services Access and Serverless VPC Access only for completeness sake.
