Transcript

Most services provide a client library or a software development kit that contains transient fault handling mechanisms. Any retry policy that it uses will typically be tailored to the nature and requirements of the target service REST interfaces, however, might return information that is useful when trying to determine whether a retry is appropriate and how long to wait before attempting the next retry. When available, use the built in retry mechanism that is supplied for the service being implemented.
