Once you've verified proper installation of the agent, you need to verify that it's running. To do this, sign into the Server with an administrator account; and from server manager, Click 'Tools' and then 'Services'. Under Services, ensure both Microsoft Azure AD Connect Agent Updater and Microsoft Azure AD Connect Provisioning Agents are present, and that their statuses both show running. If they both show running, you're good to go.
