Power Virtual Agents is part of the Microsoft Power Platform and is a useful tool for creating automated chatbots to help guide users on a path.
This course will teach you how to use and build your own chatbots. You will learn how to identify common components like topics, entities, and actions, as well as how to build chatbots that can be started with keywords.
Also, you will learn how to prepare your bots for use on websites, Teams, and other channels. This course will help you in preparing for Microsoft certification.

My name is Ron Schindler and I'm a SharePoint Architect with experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, which includes Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents. Who should attend this course? IT professionals who are interested in obtaining a Microsoft certification, those wishing to start their first virtual agent chat bot for teams or for a website or for other channels. And anyone wishing to just know how virtual agents are created and used.
Our course objectives will include understanding common use cases for Power Virtual Agents, creating topics with questions, conditions, messages and links, how to find and use entities to structure your data, testing and deploying your chat bots, keeping tabs on the analytics of your agents and to track usage performance.
What are the prerequisites for this course? Anyone can attend and gain some useful knowledge. It would be preferable if you have some experience with the Microsoft 365 environment and basic knowledge of common technical terms. You must have a license to use Power Virtual Agents, but you can start for free on the Power Virtual Agents website for a trial period.
