Congratulations! You’ve come to the end of Managing GCP Operations Logging. Let’s review what you’ve learned.

We kicked things off by writing and listing log entries, using gcloud. You then got to see how you can use the API Explorer to list log entries. We followed up with Logs Explorer, where you got to see how you can view logs and query log entries, using Logs Explorer.

After covering the logging tools, we took a look at cloud audit logs. We started by taking an overview look at the different types of logs, before talking about how you can view audit logs and export audit logs.

We wound things down by covering audit log retention.

At this point, you should have a good understanding of how to use and manage operations logging on GCP.

To learn more about operations logging on GCP, you can, and should, read Google’s published documentation. You should also keep an eye out for new courses on Cloud Academy because we’re always publishing new ones.
