Hello and welcome to Microsoft 365 Identity and Services.
The focus of this learning path is to prepare you for Microsoft's MS-100 exam. However, if you're not planning on sitting the exam, this learning path will help you get started on your way to becoming a Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator.
My name's Thomas Mitchell and I am a Course Author at Cloud Academy. The MS-100 exam earns you credit toward the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification. It will test your knowledge in four key subject areas. You'll be expected to understand how to design and implement Microsoft 365 services, how to manage user identities and roles, how to manage access and authentication, and how to plan Office 365 workloads and applications.
This learning path has been designed to align closely with the published learning objectives covered by the MS-100 exam. Therefore, we'll begin by teaching you how to design and implement Microsoft 365 services. You'll learn about things like managing domains, planning Microsoft 365 implementations, and how to set up Microsoft 365 tenancies and subscriptions. You'll also learn how to manage Microsoft 365 subscriptions and tenant health and how to plan user and data migrations.
Next, we'll cover the management of user identities and roles. In this part of the learning path, you'll learn how to design an identity strategy and how to plan and manage identity synchronization by using Azure AD Connect. You'll also learn how to manage Azure AD identities and user roles.
As we progress through the learning path, you'll learn how to manage access and authentication. Topics that we'll cover include things like authentication management including multi-factor authentication implementation. We'll also cover the configuration of application access and how to implement access for external users of Microsoft 365 workloads.
Rounding out this learning path, you'll learn how to plan Office 365 application deployments. In this part of the learning path, you'll learn how to plan for Office 365 workload deployments and how to plan Office 365 application deployments.
Working through all courses in this learning path will allow you to learn the skills necessary to sit the MS-100 exam.
