Hello, and welcome to Planning for Microsoft 365 Messaging Migrations and Deployments. My name is Thomas Mitchell and I’ll be taking you through this course.

This course is intended for those who wish to learn about messaging migrations and deployments in Microsoft 365. We’ll kick things off by looking at the two fundamental email migration options: migrations and coexistence.
After looking at these fundamental migration options, we’ll dive into the specific ways you can migrate from an on-prem Exchange environment to Microsoft Exchange Online. We’ll also look at how you can build coexistence between an on-prem Exchange environment and Exchange Online.
We’ll then look at the specific ways you can migrate from 3rd party mail solutions like Gmail to Exchange Online. After finishing this course, you'll come away with a basic understanding of what options are available for deploying Exchange online and how to migrate or coexist with it.
