Hi and welcome to this Storage Solutions for SAP on Azure course. This course builds on and extends storage topics discussed in Design an Azure Infrastructure for SAP Workloads and Design and Build High Availability and Disaster Recovery for SAP Workloads. The focus of this course is continuous availability rather than just high availability. Continuous availability is a superset of high availability that includes system upgrades and scaling. Many of the storage features and offerings discussed in this course allow you to scale up and add more capacity while leaving the system operational. We will also touch on required and optional performance enhancements to disk storage and how to protect data at rest.
