Transcript

Hello and welcome to Troubleshooting Azure AD Connect Synchronization. My name is Lee Mucciarone, and I'm a Microsoft 365 content creator for Cloud Academy. I have four years of IT experience working for Microsoft with two years of specialized experience as a customer training specialist training users on Microsoft tools. Today, we'll be taking a look at how to troubleshoot Azure AD Connect Directory synchronization errors. Azure AD Connect is Microsoft's tool for synchronizing your on-premises active directory with Microsoft's Azure Active Directory.

During the transition process, it is possible for issues to arise, and therefore it is important to know the troubleshooting steps in order to be prepared should something go wrong. Due to the nature of Azure AD Connect, it is impossible to cover every error that might come up during the syncing process. So, in this course, I focus on the most common errors and how to fix them. Before we get too deep into the specifics, let's look quickly at what we'll be covering in the course. We'll be taking a look at an overview of directory synchronization with Azure AD Connect, how Azure AD Connect works within your hybrid environment, and how to troubleshoot directory synchronization issues with Azure AD Connect. Now that we know our goals for the course, let's start off with an overview of directory synchronization in Azure AD Connect.
