Hello and welcome to this course. This is a course designed to provide insights into the connectivity options available with AWS Direct Connect. By the end of this course, you will have a greater understanding of the AWS Direct Connect connection process, Public, Private, and Transit Virtual Interfaces or VIFs, and AWS Direct Connect advanced connectivity. As an intermediate course, you should already have a basic understanding of AWS networking components and principles, especially in regard to connecting an on-prem data center to an AWS environment. It would also be advantageous if you have some basic hands-on experience of AWS and some of its core services, but it is not essential.
