Lab description

Amazon S3 Replication allows you to replicate objects from one S3 bucket to another. Once a replication rule is configured, the replication process is automatic and asynchronous, ensuring that both source and destination buckets remain in sync.

This lab challenge assumes familiarity with the following Amazon S3 features and concepts:

  • Replicating data between Amazon S3 buckets
  • Performing one-time replication using Amazon S3 Batch Operations

If you are unfamiliar with any of the above, Cloud Academy recommends completing the courses and labs mentioned in the prerequisites before attempting this lab challenge.

This hands-on lab challenge will test your practical ability to replicate data between two Amazon S3 buckets and satisfy a set of requirements in a production-like AWS environment. You will be presented with a task and set of requirements you must fulfill to pass the challenge.

This is a real environment, which means you can prove your knowledge in an applied way, substituting multiple-choice questions for a dynamic performance-based exam situation.
