Azure Data Factory Pipeline ChallengePush your skills to the next level in a live environment
The hands-on lab is part of this learning path
Lab challenges are hands-on labs with the gloves off. You jump into an auto-provisioned cloud environment and are given a goal to accomplish. No instructions, no hints. To pass, you'll have a limited time to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and get the checks that inspect the state of your lab environment.
Azure Data Factory is an extract-transform-load (ETL) service in Microsoft Azure for data integration and data transformation. In this lab challenge, you must build an Azure Data Factory Pipeline to accomplish the given objectives. You will be given access to the Azure Portal and to a data factory instance. You will use the Data Factory UI to build the pipeline that meets the requirements. The result of the pipeline run will be assessed to ensure the requirements are met.
Warning: Currently, Data Factory UI is only officially supported by Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome web browsers. It is also recommended to use incognito mode to avoid conflicts with other Microsoft accounts impacting Data Factory UI.
What will be assessed
- Azure Data Factory skills including linked services, datasets, pipelines, and triggers
- Candidates for Microsoft Azure Data Engineering Certifications
- Data Engineers
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (the Using Azure Data Factory Pipelines to Copy Data Cloud Academy lab is recommended)
