Bash Challenge: RNA TranscriptionPush your skills to the next level in a live environment
Lab challenges are hands-on labs with the gloves off. You jump into an auto-provisioned cloud environment and are given a goal to accomplish. No instructions, no hints. To pass, you'll have a limited time to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and get the checks that inspect the state of your lab environment.
Your task in this challenge is to return the RNA complement of a given DNA strand (per the provided RNA transcription rules). Both DNA and RNA strands are a sequence of nucleotides. Given a DNA strand, its transcribed RNA strand is formed by replacing each nucleotide with its complement.
What will be assessed
- Your ability to write Bash code within a time-limited environment
- Beginner Bash script developers
- Knowledge of Bash
