Python Challenge: AccumulatePush your skills to the next level in a live environment

Lab challenges are hands-on labs with the gloves off. You jump into an auto-provisioned cloud environment and are given a goal to accomplish. No instructions, no hints. To pass, you'll have a limited time to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and get the checks that inspect the state of your lab environment.
In this challenge, you will put your knowledge of the Python programming language to the test by implementing the
accumulate operation, which, given a collection and an operation to perform on each element of the collection, returns a new collection containing the result of applying that operation to each element of the input collection.
Given the collection of numbers:
- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
And the operation:
- square a number (
x => x * x)
Your code should be able to produce the collection of squares:
- 1, 4, 9, 16, 25
