Description

Amazon Database Migration Service (DMS) is an offering from AWS that lets you migrate data between different database versions, engines, and data store types. It's fully managed and can reduce the complexity of technically challenging migration scenarios.

Learning how to use AWS DMS will help anyone looking to work with sophisticated workloads in the public AWS cloud.

In this hands-on lab, you will use Amazon VPC and AWS DMS to securely and efficiently export data from an Amazon RDS instance to Amazon S3.

Please note, this lab creates a DMS replication instance which can take up to 15 minutes to finish creation. Please ensure you have enough time available before starting the lab.
