Lab description

In this walkthrough, we will create a policy assignment that requires tagging, create a storage account and test the tagging, view resources with a specified tag, and remove the tagging policy.

Please note:

The Cloud Academy Labs platform uses Azure Policy for securing the lab environments so permission to write/edit the policies cannot be granted in the lab session.

Although you will not be able to complete all the lab instructions using the lab's student user, you can follow the instructions to understand the impact of policy changes. If you have access to your own Azure subscription, you can also follow along using it.

When the students encounter the policy write error, that is expected because policy writes are not allowed. However, the following instructions illustrate the impact if the write was allowed so you can continue to follow along.
