Kubernetes is built and managed in layers and nodes, wherein each component functions independently, while still running the same base system. A good grasp of these disparate elements, how to upgrade them individually and how to coordinate services across a cluster are all operational tasks that need to be performed regularly by cloud operations and devops teams.

The content in this course will teach you Container Orchestration with Kubernetes to a level 3 standard.

Learning Objectives

  • Be able to patch and upgrade a Kubernetes cluster control plane and worker nodes
  • Be able to setup and manage a service mesh (Istio)
