This learning path has been designed for those looking to enhance their skills in designing for disaster recovery and high availability in AWS at an intermediate level, ideally for those who have more than 6 months experience working with AWS Compute services.

Using a combination of on-demand courses and hands-on labs you will be introduced to a number of different AWS services and features. Using the new skills obtained from this learning path you will be able to effectively demonstrate knowledge of how to recover from failure using effective HA and DR solutions in AWS.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this learning path you will be able to:

  • Analyze the amount of resources required to implement a fault-tolerant architecture across multiple AWS Availability Zones
  • Evaluate an effective AWS disaster recovery strategy to meet specific business requirements
  • Understand SLA for AWS services to ensure the high availability of a given AWS solution
  • Analyze which AWS services can be leveraged to implement a decoupled solution
