This learning path is still in development and requires additional content to cover all of the points assessed in the exam. We are busy working on new content to fill the gaps. Until then, the courses and labs currently available in this Learning Path will allow you to get started in preparing for this certification.
This learning path is designed to help you prepare for the Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer exam. Candidates who pass the exam will earn the Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification.
The Professional Cloud Network Engineer exam tests your knowledge of seven subject areas.
- Designing, planning, and prototyping a GCP network
- Implementing a GCP Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)
- Configuring network services
- Implementing hybrid interconnectivity
- Implementing network security
- Managing and monitoring network operations
- Optimizing network resources
- People who want to become Google Cloud Platform network engineers
- People preparing for the Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer exam
- Basic understanding of cloud concepts such as virtual machines, containers, and networking
Learning Path Steps
This course walks you through the services available when planning and configuring a GCP solution.
Connect to Google Compute Engine (GCE) Linux VM Instances Using SSH
This lab will show you two methods for connecting to Linux VM instances over SSH.
This course uses a case study to show how to apply the design principles of security, compliance, disaster recover to meet real-world requirements.
This course guides you through the key steps to configure a virtual private cloud (VPC) on Google Cloud Platform.
Create a Network Infrastructure with Google Virtual Private Cloud
In this Lab, you'll create a basic network infrastructure composed of a VPC, two Subnets in different regions, and two firewall rules that will filter the ingress traffic.
Deploying Networking and Compute Resources on Google Cloud Platform
This course teaches you how to deploy network and compute resources on GCP, preparing you for the Associate Cloud Engineer exam.
This course covers Google Cloud systems operations, providing insight and practical information across the complete set of GCP features.
Balance the Traffic to Compute Engine Instances Through a Load Balancer
In this lab you will create an instance group that will hold the VMs in your environment, then you will attach a load balancer to the group.
This hands-on tutorial teaches you monitoring, testing, managing, and troubleshooting your GCP app infrastructure.
In this lab, you will understand the best practices to monitor a compute engine instance by viewing the usage, creating alert policies and creating a chart.
To help you get the most out of the security tools offered in Google Cloud Platform, this course covers how to properly manage IAM, service accounts, and audit logs.
In this lab challenge, you'll be given a desired end state and be required to reach it using your knowledge of Google Cloud and networking.
