This learning path has been designed for those looking to enhance their skills in implementing cost effective management solutions in AWS at an intermediate level, ideally for those who have more than 6 months experience working with AWS Compute services.
Using a combination of on-demand courses and hands-on labs you will be introduced to a number of different AWS services and features. Using the new skills obtained from this learning path you will be able to effectively demonstrate knowledge of applying cost effective measures when running workloads on AWS.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this learning path you will be able to:
- Apply automated processes to AWS storage tiers to minimise data costs over a given time period
- Evaluate how to control your AWS resource cost by configuring start and stop schedules with the Instance Scheduler for EC2 instances and RDS databases
- Analyze the most cost-effective connectivity options between AWS and on-premises environments
- Analyze various options to minimize total cost of ownership through both AWS managed services and serverless architectures
