Azure Front Door CDN combines the capabilities of Azure CDN Standard and Azure Web Application Firewall to provide a secure, fast, and reliable cloud delivery solution for your Azure applications.
Using Front Door with a Storage account in Azure is a great way to serve static content from a storage account. It can help accelerate the delivery of your static content by caching it at strategically placed locations. Organizations can also leverage Front Door to provide a single global entry point for their applications, which can be used to route to multiple backend pools consisting of Azure Storage, Web Apps, Cloud Services, and even on-premises web servers.
