Description

Frequent iterations and deployments are to be expected during the development stage of an AWS CDK application. The AWS CDK Toolkit (CLI) provides developers with tools that can accelerate the development process by monitoring and performing updates as code changes are being made in real-time.

In this lab, you will explore hotswap deployments and the CDK watch command. You'll learn the differences between the two operations and how to best utilize them as you grow your application.

  • Perform hotswap deployments to update AWS Lambda source code
  • Configure CDK watch to perform automatic deployments triggered by code updates
