Description

This certification learning path is specifically designed to prepare you for the AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (ANS-C01) exam released in July 2022. This learning path covers the knowledge required to master the domains outlined in the exam blueprint. Throughout this learning path, you will be guided via our courses, hands-on labs, and resources, all of which are focused on areas that will be assessed within the exam.

This learning path is designed specifically for students looking to validate their technical skills and experience designing, implementing, and operating complex AWS and hybrid networking architectures.

Intended Audience

This learning path is suitable for anyone wanting to pass the AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (ANS-C01) exam. As defined in the exam blueprint, which can be found here, the exam has been designed for individuals wanting to demonstrate critical knowledge related to complex AWS and hybrid networking architectures running in the AWS Cloud.

This learning path is curated specifically to prepare you for passing the AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (ANS-C01) exam. We only cover the aspects and services likely to appear in the exam.

Learning Objectives

The aim of the certification is to validate your knowledge across a number of different key areas, which have been defined by AWS as being able to:

  • Design and develop hybrid and cloud-based networking solutions by using AWS
  • Implement core AWS networking services according to AWS best practices
  • Operate and maintain hybrid and cloud-based network architecture for all AWS services
  • Use tools to deploy and automate hybrid and cloud-based AWS networking tasks
  • Implement secure AWS networks using AWS native networking constructs and services

As a means of demonstrating this knowledge, you will be tested across 4 different domains, with each domain contributing to a total percentage of your overall score. These domains are broken down as:

Domain 1: Network Design (30%)

Domain 2: Network Implementation (26%)

Domain 3: Network Management and Operation (20%)

Domain 4: Network Security, Compliance, and Governance (24%)

As you progress through the learning path, you will gain all the information and knowledge required to fulfill the domain expectations, gaining a deep understanding within each area.

Prerequisites

This learning path is designed for anyone with experience designing, implementing, and operating complex AWS and hybrid networking architectures who is looking to validate their technical skills and experience via the AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (ANS-C01) certification. According to AWS, target candidates for this certification are likely to have 5 or more years of networking experience and 2 or more years of experience working with cloud and hybrid networks.
