Description
The AWS Cloud Development Kit v2 (CDK v2) is a software development framework for provisioning and managing AWS cloud resources using code.
The CDK Toolkit is the primary tool for interacting with an application built using the AWS CDK. The CDK Toolkit is essentially the CLI command cdk accompanied by various subcommands, which allow you to initiate, synthesize, and deploy cloud resources to your AWS account.
In this lab, you will walk through the development process of a sample AWS CDK application in an integrated development environment (IDE) to utilize the AWS CDK Toolkit to learn when and how to use the subcommands.
Important: This hands-on lab uses the latest AWS CDK v2. For hands-on labs and challenges that use the AWS CDK v1, refer to the Get Hands-on with the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK v1) learning path.
