Amazon Q for Builders and Developers
This lesson explains how developers and builders can maximize productivity, efficiency, and performance using Amazon Q. Amazon Q integrates with several AWS services that builders and developers often use. This lesson will focus on Q’s integration with a few of those key services, including Amazon EC2, AWS Lambda, Amazon CodeWhisperer, Amazon CodeCatalyst, AWS Glue, and Amazon Redshift.

By the end of this lesson, you will have a greater understanding of how to use Amazon Q as a builder, including:
- How to work with Amazon Q in the AWS Console and an IDE
- How to use Amazon Q with Amazon CodeWhisperer
- How to use Amazon Q with data engineering services
- How to use Amazon Q with CodeCatalyst
Intended Audience
- Developers, data engineers, machine learning engineers, and other builders who are looking to embed and use Amazon Q in their workflows
Prerequisites
- Have a basic understanding of Amazon Q, including what it does and how it works
- Have an introductory level understanding of some of the services that Q integrates with, including Amazon CodeWhisperer, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon CodeCatalyst
- Have a basic understanding of Amazon S3 and AWS Lambda
